Photos of my 500mm f4 can be viewed here. There was a slight amount of damage to where the hood connects to the lens. I believe this is due to Nikons horrible implementation of how to attach the hood, and a very commmon problem. A piece of rubber has been attached and two tape "markers" have been implemented to resolve any further damage. The hood screw has been reinforced very neatly with an epoxy compound to prevent screw breakage....another problem with the hood. The lens itself, is in wonderful condition. One small scuff on top and one equally small on the bottom. Please email me for more information. Price = $6000 + shipping if required.
